Solo project
This is a relaxed VR archery experience designed for players to practice and refine their precision. Step into a serene virtual environment where you can take your time aiming and shooting arrows at steadily moving targets.
This demonstration emphasizes accuracy and control over speed, making it perfect for those who want to hone their archery skills in a calm, immersive setting. With intuitive controls and realistic mechanics, this VR experience will deliver a satisfying archery experience focusing on technique and precision rather than fast-paced action.
Intuitive Bow and Arrow Controls
Designed for a seamless VR experience, offering natural and responsive controls for accurate aiming and shooting.
Realistic Archery Physics
Enjoy lifelike arrow trajectory and target impact, mimicking real-world archery dynamics for a more authentic feel.
Steadily Moving Targets
Challenge your precision with targets that move at a consistent pace, perfect for honing your skills without time pressure.
Embracing challenges and discovering new skills
As I reflect on my journey working through this VR project, I am excited while looking back upon the challenges and valuable lessons I learned. Developing Target Hunt allowed me to dive deep into VR mechanics, especially how users interact with objects like bows and arrows. It was tough but rewarding to figure out the best way to create effects similar to real-life situations, and I learned how to make gameplay more immersive and intuitive for users.
Pushing boundaries and exploring future opportunities
Using what I learned in this project, I want to continue challenging myself by creating more challenging and complex works/projects in the future. I am particularly passionate about leveraging VR experiences to develop job training and educational content. For instance, creating VR scenarios to teach teenagers to avoid using technology in social settings or creating VR training for social workers when dealing with mentally unstable patients.
